# Getting started

Geenius Chat is coming soon. This page says what you can do today and what the first steps will be once it opens.

> Chat is not live. There is no sign-in page and no conversations yet. The steps under "When Chat opens" describe the app we are building.

## What you can do today

1. **Look at the plans.** Chat is not on sale yet. See [plans and limits](/docs/plans-and-limits/).
2. **Join the waitlist.** Leave your email on the [request-access page](/request-access/). We write when Chat opens.
3. **Tell us what you need.** The [contact page](/contact/) has a feature-request form. It helps us decide what to open first.

## When Chat opens

1. **Sign in.** Press Sign in and use the account you already have. Chat checks that your plan includes it. See [signing in](/docs/sign-in/).
2. **Write a message.** Ask a question or hand over a task. When the list of models is live, the app shows which ones you can pick. See [models and providers](/docs/models/).
3. **Let a run work.** For a longer task the agent takes steps, may call tools and may ask you something. Each step is saved as it finishes. See [runs](/docs/runs/).
4. **Come back to it.** Your conversation stays in your list of threads, newest first. See [threads](/docs/threads/).

## Good to know

- Session and weekly limits come from your plan. The app will show both.
- Chat starts on the web, made to install like an app. A phone app is planned and has no date.
- The windows on this website show sample data, not real conversations.
